Bitterness, resentment, jealousy and spite

All unadmirable qualities if you like

But don't just sit there

Wearing your imaginary crown

Wev'e all been there

And experienced the downs

Some like to feel superior

As if they have a unique interior

What they don't know

Is that they are evolved machines

Being used just to pass on genes

Despite the realisation of my existence

I still very much recognise

The luck which was granted in life's instance

There are two ways to see things with a human mind

Either we are lucky

Or nature is unkind

I know for sure

That my mind is uncertain

Today's medicine

Could be tommorow's poison

I am like a floating soul

Lost in limbo

I'm not joining in with the race

I'm just looking out of the window

Sometimes I struggle

To remember my own point

Am I spouting wisdom?

Or are my words too weak and faint?

Is it a blessing to be here right now?

Yet another day is now over

And I still can't decide somehow
